I'm back from a great pilgrimage to many sacred places in Italy and France. For the next couple of weeks, if I may, I'd like to divert from the regular format of Monastery Daily Photo to share some of my favorite images with you. I hope that you enjoy my photos.
The first stop on our pilgrimage was to the eternal city - ROMA. Of course, St. Peter's Basilica was a focal point for us as it is the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church. This statue of St. Peter holding the "key to the kingdom" stands prominently in front of St. Peter's, one of the largest Churches in all of Christendom.
It's good to be home!
